AEROPRESS

AeroPress Brewing Guide

This guide is designed for use with the Aerobie AeroPress brewing equipment.
Grind 18 grams (approx. 3 tbsp) of coffee on a medium setting - slightly coarser than for drip coffee. (No. 3 setting on most adjustable grinders).
Boil water 205-210°F (best if filtered).
Place the paper filter in the detachable cap and run hot water through it to remove any paper taste.
Assemble the AeroPress and place upside down on the scales.
Add the coffee into the chamber and start your pour with just 30 grams of water and mix gently with the paddle provided ensuring all coffee grounds are wet. Let sit for 30 seconds.
Pour an additional 160 grams of water, filling up to the brim of the chamber. Give it another stir with the paddle. Screw on cap and filter and turn over AeroPress and place over cup or serving vessel.
Wait 60 seconds before gently applying pressure on the plunger, forcing water through the coffee and filter into your cup ready to drink.
Serve and enjoy!
